What is your favorite food? And how do you make it?

Enola E.
Salmon is actually my favorite food. I like to grill it with a little liquid smoke that has been diluted with water and rubbed onto it after I spray the fish with something like Pam oil spray. I lasso like to accompany it with shredded cabbage salad.

That is not an easily answered question. I don't think it's even possible since I love food, especially variety. About the only food I'm not crazy about is seafood.

Some favourite cuisines are Mediterranean especially Greek and Middle-Eastern, Mexican/South American, and Philipino.

I like to eat muesli in the morning with some fruit no sugar. I just heat it up in the microwave haha. Also instead of muesli i will sometimes make an egg.

Quinoto, and i sauté garlic, white onions and mushrooms in a pan for a few minutes while the quinoa cooks halfway. Then I put it in the other pan and finish it with coconut milk

Right now my favorite food is avocado, raspberries, lemon juice and stevia blended together into a pudding, and topped with ground almonds.

My favorite food is any kind of taco. I like street taco sized ones. The are small just a few bites and you can put any combination of things on them.
Edo Q.
My favorite food is tacos. To make it you first put meat into a pan and cook it. Next you cook the hard shells if you like them. Then you get lettuce, sour cream, cheese, ect. Lastly you put the meat in the shell and put in the lettuce and stuff I listed befor.

Interesting question. I don't think I have a favourite these days. Some days I crave salad, others, sweet things. I have recently lost over 100lbs in weight, and I have found my food preferences have changed. I still like the more fatty, sugary foods – but thankfully they don't have the same effect on me as before!

For breakfast I have 3-4 boiled eggs with yokes removed. Apart from the usual salt and pepper, I experiment with different seasoning like chilli flakes and different herbs and spices. I also have Soy milk which has a slight vanilla flavour.

Hhhmmmm that’s a tricky one, a good breakfast food is smoothies and my favourite is this:
1/2 cup of frozen raspberry’s
1/2 cup of frozen blueberrys
1 banana
2. Tablespoons of almond butter
1 table spoon of chia seeds
1 table spoon of ground flax seed
1 teaspoon of maple syrup
1/2-1 cup of water

Blend all together, and serve it makes one smoothie.

Hope that helps

It's a dominican dish made of rice, beans (or other legumes) and meat (usually chicken or pork). I always eat this on Sundays and when I do, I enjoy staying in the kitchen for a couple of hours to cook the dish. I don't like going out and distract myself. I'm always focused when I'm cooking because I've burnt food so many times that I learnt not to think of other things when I'm cooking.

I wish I knew how to cook. My bad relationship with food goes beyond eating too much. It started very early in my life. So… lasagna.

Oven baked @ 450 deg F using oven proof pan with olive oil and chopped up fresh garlic for 2 mins, add in fresh 10-14 (amount dependent on size of shrimp) medium sized meaty firm shrimp premarinated with olive oil and salt and pepper (deshelled and deveined) 2 mins on each side, then off oven add with spinach then stir with spatula and leave in oven for 2 mins and stir and another 3 mins in off oven. This main side is eaten with a grain side (4 TBSP of 4-minute raw oatmeal with or without cacao powder + add enough water to be 1 cm above the soaked/sunken oatmeal, microwaved for 2mins check and stir +2 mins check and stir +30sec watch to not overflow optional add fruit/veggies/cacao powder+30 on high). Just couple granules of salt as it is only used to bring out the flavour of the seafood (already salty in nature) and spinach. Yum, satisfying and not too full. Just right.

At the moment I’m really into a banana peanut butter smoothie with collagen and pea protein powder. Just chuck it all in the blender! Frozen banana makes it more awesome

Pesto Chicken Salad

Sauté the chicken and then cut into chunks.
Cook spiral pasta.
Mix:
Korrs Pesto mix packet
1/2 cup mayo
1 tsp vinegar

Then mix everything together.
This is a cold dish. So it is best after refrigerating for a couple of hours.

Sushi is one of my favourite foods. I let the professionals make that at the restaurant 😊. I make spaghetti with homemade sauce or homemade pizza. Those are some of my other favourites.

I’ve contimplated this question all day and it’s just entirely too vague a question for me to answer! I have favorites for breakfast, lunch and dinner 🥴

My favourite food is ‘totjespap’. It’s very easy to make it: just cook the potatoes, mash them, pour ‘karnemelk’ and melted butter with it and cook some eggs to go with it.

I like pita breads with hummus, olive oil, olives and some radish + carrots on the side. Quick and simple to make, gives you everything you need, and omg its so good!

My favourite food is pad thai. I make it with love and rice noodles. The recipe is from my dad who perfected it. Instead of chicken though I use soy
Amelly B.
Oh geez, that’s difficult because I love to cook! I really love shrimp sautéed in olive oil, lots of garlic, fresh lemon thyme from garden, dash of sea salt, pepper and then deglazed with Grand Marnier or Cointreau. Put all over a bed of greens mixture of baby kale, arugula and baby spinach and top off with either green or black olives. Serve with crusty bread and dip that in the pan juices. Enjoy?

I like soup and salad. vegetables contain proteins that body needs. I like to add beans and potato and bread to make it more filling. I also like intermittent fasting (eating only for 8 hours) which naturally reduces a meal and saves time. The other meal is always brakfast for me which is eggs, milk, coffe, cheese and mushroom/pepper.
Mir Ia S.
I like to make a vegetable soup for couscous. I choose good vegetables: Potatoes, pumpkin, onions, carrots, cabbages, garlic, parsley, hummus, beans, squashes, etc.
I pushed some spices and water and it is healthy, tasty and filling.

Porridge oats every single morning with different variations. You can buy different fruits or alternatively use raisins if you don't want something that will go out of date quickly. Eating this will create a powerful habit 🙂

Chicken with paprika.
I chop some onions, cook it a little, mix with paprika powder, chicken, salt and pepper, then cook it for an hour on low heat.

It’s difficult to choose! Lately I’ve been obsessed with salads. My favorite way to make them is with a spring mix and then I use sriracha and avacado as dressing. I’m vegan so I either use morning star chicken strips or smart life bacon to add some interest. I eat this almost every day.

Well, my favorite food is half a cup of oats with hot water topped with 2 tbsp of peanut butter and 2tbsp of honey. This a really delicious recipe 😀👍

Enchiladas (my mother's recipe)! I'm not sure how "healthy" they are but they're also not the worst food either, and I don't believe in starving yourself from all yummy foods necessarily. You brown hamburger, drop corn tortillas in hot oil for just a few seconds so they're soft, then roll hamburger into the tortillas and line them up in a glass baking dish. Mix 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 2 cans tomato soup, 1 can enchilada sauce, and I packet of enchilada seasoning and pour it over the tortillas, completely covering them. Then sprinkle shredded cheese over it and bake until it's looking good! Quite easy really and fantastic flavor! It's not spicy at all unless you choose the spicy enchilada seasoning, or if you add spice. Mmm-mm!

My favorite food is Rissoto because it is healthy and warm! You start by sautéing onions, mushrooms, and garlic; the kitchen will always smell great while doing this. You then start to add white wine and warm chicken broth, in ladlefuls, into your rice. When all the chicken broth you added in is gone, add another ladleful. Keep doing this until your rice is cooked to your liking. Add cheese and the sautéed spices to finish and enjoy!

I love to make food with many different parts. I don’t have one favourite food, but something with squash and turkey/sausage.
Quentin P.
My favourite food is pizza. I order it from one specific local restaurant – they're the only ones who do Italian pizza. DELICIOUS!
Jennifer C.
I love all kinds of food! I don’t eat meat, but I learned to make many amazing vegetarian meals and snacks!
I love oatmeal and cereal with yogurt!
Elijah Z.
My answer is not a healthy food option, but you asked about my favorite food not my favorite healthy food. I LOVE French fries!!! I make them with fresh potatoes sliced and then place in olive oil on the skillet, turning every few minutes until they turn a golden brown on the outside. You can add all kinds of toppings or make papas nachos with some other more healthy ingredients, like avocado!! I really love potatoes prepared anyway, but French fries are my favorite!

Spring rolls. They’re so easy to make and normally very healthy and filling. Soak rice noodles in hot water. Start cutting veggies. I like using carrots and cucumbers in 1/4” strips. Also cut up some cabbage, scallions and mint. After all that get your rice papers ready by soaking them in warm water for 1 minute. Now time to roll. Put down your rice paper, set down some cabbage, rice noodles, carrots, cucumbers, scallions and mint. Start rolling into burrito formation. Serve with sweet and spicy peanut sauce. Now enjoy.

Stir-fried vegetables with ginger and cashewnuts. Easy, cut a selection of chosen veggies. Stir fry some fresh garlic and ginger in olive oil. Than add the veggies and an Asian sauce or other sauce you like. Stir it up for a short period so that the vegetables remain crispy and with a bite. And to finish it you add a handful of cashews in there. Serve with rice, bulgur or pasta
Et voila!

My favorite food is shrimp. My favorite way of it being prepared is the shrimp sauteed with garlic and vegetables (broccoli, bell peppers) and placed on fettuccine then covered with alfredo cheese.

Hmm, favourite breakfast food or in general? I'll go with breakfast since it's related to the Eat a Great Breakfast habit.

Lately I've been loving frying greens like kale and spinach in coconut oil or bacon grease, cracking a couple of eggs over top with salt and pepper, adding a bit of water, and covering the pan for a couple of minutes until the tops of the eggs are cooked. It's nutritious, delicious, quick, and keto!

Today I made something similar to this and it was quite good: https://www.dietdoctor.com/recipes/keto-western-omelet

Egg muffins are a piece of turkey sandwich meat in a muffin tin with cheese and spices in it then top it off with an egg. Bake a tray full until done 😊
Jen J.
Breakfeast is the eggs with the paprika full of the cottage cheese, corn waffels with spirulina
cup of tea

Snacks – fruits, smoothie

Lunch/Dinner – beef steak with mushroom sauce and asparagus

Sautéed shrimp and vegetables. Super simple and filling. I pick my favorite veggies (broccoli, baby corn, spinach, peppers, onions ). Sauté with sesame and avocado oil. Add the shrimp. Continue until shrimp is cooked. Pepper and soy sauce to taste.

Oh I love rice. Absolutely. But I did cut down on it and now have moved to ragi malt which is easier to make. Actually similar to making Maggie noodles, only way more healthy. It keeps me full for a very long time almost upto lunch in the afternoon. So that’s my favourite now. And I love boiled eggs too.
